MINI ME instantly converts compatible Android smartphones and tablets into an EPC Class 1 Gen2 UHF RFID reader. MINI ME is convenient to use where mobile UHF RFID reading of EPC Gen2 tags at close range is acceptable. MINI ME allows users to read and write EPC Class 1 Gen2 compliant tags at close range (read ranges up to 25 cm, may be less depending on actual tag and environment). MINI ME attaches to a micro USB connector port of compatible Android O/S 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0.2 or higher) devices that support USB OTG host mode. MINI ME comes with MTI low level command set API that can be used with Android SDK by developers to create custom UHF RFID software apps. MTI RFID ME GUI is an Android app demo program that can be downloaded for free from Google Play or github. MINI ME is 38mm (L) x 33mm (W) x 15 mm (H) and has adjustable transmit output level control.
